IPIX and Globecomm Systems Partner to Offer Satellite and Wireless Surveillance Solutions
on a Global Basis

Reston, VA. - August 9 , 2005 – IPIX Corporation (NASDAQ: IPIX), the premier provider of immersive imaging solutions, today announced that the company is teaming with Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM-News), a global provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions, to offer satellite and wireless surveillance solutions on a global basis.


The companies will co-market the combined capabilities as “Surveillance Network Solutions,” a turnkey broadband solution that will fuse Globecomm’s satellite and network services with IPIX’s 360-degree video cameras and analytics, targeting the global government, enterprise observation and surveillance network markets.
