Initsys is Successful with IPIX

Launched at IFSEC 2005 Initsys's Track and Zoom gives the ability for full 360 degree surveillance with high quality pinpoint of activity by pan tilt and zoom cameras. This technology has been selected to provide protection for roving manned checkpoints in a Middle East country.

One of the problems with traditional pan and tilt cameras is that when they are looking in one direction activity in another may be missed. This failing is often used to distract the attention of surveillance operators, something that is vital when CCTV is used to provide protection to security teams or in a high security application. The Initsys solution has been deployed along with long range IP data transmission to provide central command and control with the ability to monitor ground operations and provide full 360 degree protection to remote roving stop and check teams.

Provided as a package with an IPIX Command View Camera and two Panasonic KXHCM-280 cameras the system can monitor the complete scene and drive the PTZ cameras to activity when automatically detected by the system.
